METHODS & ACCOUNTABILITY

Editorial policy

Evidence and scope

We use official technical documents, manufacturer explanations and industry-body publications for factual claims. Each guide links to the source that supports its claim. A source may describe one material, one machine family or one jurisdiction; we retain those limits.

Our decision tables and blank records are editorial tools. They are not supplier specifications, test reports or approved operating procedures. Numerical examples, where included, are explicitly hypothetical. We do not publish unsupported prices or universal equipment settings.

Images

Illustrative workshop and material scenes may be created with image tools. They do not show a named factory, model, client project or test. Editable diagrams explain relationships and are labelled when schematic. The surrounding text carries the important conditions.

Revisions and corrections

Articles display an update month. Substantive corrections should identify the affected statement and its supporting evidence; changes to law or technical guidance need the applicable version and date. Our contact and corrections page describes the current submission-channel availability.

Independence

This is an independent publication. We do not claim to be a former organization associated with the domain, an equipment maker or a provider of the services discussed. A cited supplier is a source, not an endorsement.
